PackPix
UCOMM maintains NC State Photos (formerly named PackPix) as an open library of their photos.
Video B-Roll
UCOMM has series of b-roll assets that are available upon request.
CertificatePress
CertificatePress (run by ECE) is a little tool to easily generate NC State printable certificates. For access, contact Charles Hall.
WolfWaiver
WolfWaiver (run by ECE) is a quick way to collect photo/media waivers, as well as utilize a standard social media takeover agreement. To get you/dept added to it, contact Charles Hall
Office Status Placard
Hybrid schedules are fun. We can never find folks in the ECE admin suite, so added placards to each person’s door stating their regular schedule, how to contact them, who to contact if you need someone urgently, and a QR code linking to their Google Calendar.
This is controlled by a simple webform that each person can fill out, and then print on 8.5 x 11.
WolfLink
Need a link tree for your social media stories? Say hi to WolfLink (run by ECE). Set up your own tree under links.engr.it.
Persona
Persona (run by OIT) is an attribute-based people grouping service, allowing users to create groups that automatically update their membership based on a set of criteria. These groups can be tied to Google Groups, allowing their membership to be automatically updated. Note that Persona requires a request for access (with a reason as to “why”) and is not the most user-friendly thing on the planet. Request for access is a ticket to [email protected].
You’ll want to create Groups using a Query, such as:
ListMinder
ListMinder (run by WolfTech/ECE) is a tool to help manage Google Groups on campus, including automating them, permission-based list access, etc. There’s a handy video on how to manage lists on ListMinder.
MailHouse
MailHouse (run by WolfTech/ECE) is a tool to manage syncing students/faculty/staff (via Persona groups) to external emailing systems (e.g.: MailChimp, Emma, etc).
Billboard
Billboard (run by WolfTech/ECE) is the campus-wide digital signage platform. The Screen Locations page shows where all the screens are, and who the current admins for them are. Anyone can add slides to Community, which can then be displayed on anyone’s screens.
Emails are sent to the members of the [email protected] mailing list every morning with previews of all newly uploaded slides from the previous day. Anyone who wishes to join this mailing list can send a blank email to [email protected]
Qualtrics
If you want to send out more comprehensive surveys than what is available with Google Forms, NC State maintains a license of Qualtrics. See here to create an account.

Go Links (run by OIT) are shortened URLs that help you provide quick and easily remembered links to content that is important to you and your organization.
Library
NC State University Libraries has a plethora and constantly changing array of tech devices they lend out, including cameras, audio gear, and assorted random devices. Most are borrowable for a few days at a time, however in non-peak times they typically will make allowances for departmental requests.
Dining
- Port City Java: Coffee shop serving a variety of hot and cold coffee beverages, smoothies, pastries, wraps, and sandwiches. Location on the east side of EB2.
- 321 Coffee – coming soon at Textiles.
- Common Grounds Café and Creamery in Hunt Library: Coffee shop offering a lineup of hot and cold coffee beverages, muffins, bakery bars, and Howling Cow ice cream. There are also refrigerated sandwiches, wraps, etc that are surprisingly decent.
- On the Oval: Food court with five restaurants. Note that the majority closes when not in a semester, but Gravity Café exists in those times with a basic menu.
- State Club at Park Alumni Center: Restaurant serving lunch weekdays from 11AM – 2PM
- The Terrace at Lonnie Poole Golf Course: Upscale, casual dining serving lunch from 11AM – 3PM, and an afternoon menu until 6PM.
- Food Trucks: Raleigh-area food truck vendors bring a variety of lunchtime options between 11:30AM and 1:30PM each day in front of Venture II-A and II-B
Health
- Campus Smiles: an independent affiliate of NC State that offers dental services
- Centennial Health Services: a student health facility providing primary care, physical therapy, and nutrition counseling
- Counseling Center: a satellite office offering counseling services by appointment
